Aleksander Kaczuk-Jagielnik (1998) – baritone, comes from an artistic family, the son of photographer Piotr Jagielnik and painter Agata Kaczuk-Jagielnik.
Young Artist of the National Opera Studio in London during artistic seasons 2023/2024 and 2024/2025.
He graduated from the first-degree studies (2017-2021) at the vocal department of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, under the guidance of Prof. Bogdan Makal. Since October 2021, he has been continuing his studies at the Wrocław Academy of Music at the master’s level with a vocal-acting profile. Additionally, in the 2022/2023 artistic season, he participated in the Opera Academy- Young Talents Development Programme at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
He began his vocal training at the Music School in Gorzów Wielkopolski under Dr. Beata Gramza. Among his recent achievements are the third place at the International Danubia Singing Competition 2022 in Budapest and the third place at the VII International Competition of Musicians-Performers “Performers of the 21st Century” in Moscow in March 2021. He has been recognized in various national vocal competitions, including first place in the V Nationwide Vocal Competition in Suwałki and second place in the XI Nationwide Vocal Competition in Gliwice. He received the highest score of 25 points and an award during the Macroregional Auditions CEA 2017 in Kielce.
He honed his skills under the guidance of prominent educators in the Young Talent Education Program at the Opera Academy, including Izabella Kłosińska, Olga Pasiecznik, Michał Biel, Mariusz Kwiecień, Sophia Muños, Tobias Truniger, Maciej Pikulski, Dearbhla Collins, Elaine Kidd, Rosemary Joshua, Hedwig Fassbender, Edith Wiens, and through numerous masterclasses with Eytan Pessen, Aleksandra Kurzak, Francesco Bottigliero, Sabina Martinaityte, Jarosław Bręk.
He has performed at venues such as the Polish National Philharmonic, the Polish National Opera, the Gorzów Philharmonic, the Sudecka Philharmonic, as well as abroad at the Welsh National Opera and Wigmore Hall. Despite his young age, he has had significant performances, concerts, and participated in opera projects both in Poland and abroad. Actively engaged, he collaborates with young artists like Paweł Popko, Michał Skowronek, and Bartłomiej Malarz, resulting in projects such as CHOPINstorie, Polish Music for Voice and Piano, and the frequently performed recital Italian Arias. He has received the artistic scholarship of the Mayor of Gorzów Wielkopolski three times. Since December 2020, he has been a member and coordinator of projects at the Gorzów Music Society. He is the founder and president of the AKJ Foundation.
